Amanda Hawkins

By the time she turned 21, Amanda Hawkins had performed thousands of times on stages from Denver to Los Angeles to Fort Worth to New York City; recorded 80 songs, including her first dozen originals; earned a spot in the American Idol Season 7 Top 50; won top honors at regional and national vocal and performing arts competitions; majored in Voice at The Musician’s Institute Los Angeles; and spent countless hours at lessons and rehearsals, in recording and dance studios.

She was invited to sing for the King of Uganda; sang "Happy Together" center stage with the Turtles; followed up a lunch conversation with Deepak Chopra with an impromptu performance for Dr. Ruth Westheimer; sang on the sidewalk for tips on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall and University City Loop in St. Louis; and sang at more than 60 in-store appearances at Colorado and Wyoming Barnes & Noble stores with author Gina Otto

Since her first recording session at age 12, she’s has been in demand in the studio, lending her voice to an original stage musical, a Billboard Award winning song, and several demos for songwriters in Denver, L.A., and Nashville.

Today, Amanda is recording her second solo album, performing with her own all-star band, and well as a member of the Denver-based alternative rock band DELLA.
